Lockdown measures around Europe are slowly easing this week. With this and the news that Germany are reclassifying trade shows as organised events rather than mass gatherings, could there be a distant light at the end of the tunnel for physical events?
The organisers and exhibitors of Dmexco – the worlds largest digital marketing show, will certainly be pleased to see things moving in the right direction. And of course, so are we.
It’s a show that Nest have been working at for many years having had success at MWC in Barcelona.
The mobile world congress in Barcelona is the largest mobile event in the world, bringing together the latest innovations and leading-edge technology from more than 2,400 leading companies, with a highly-rated conference programme assembling today’s visionaries to explore the hottest topics influencing the industry.
Nest studios supported three exhibitors this year working again with Trustonic, ChannelVAS and a new client for 2019 Remade.
Innovation. Durability. Circular economy. Remade experiencing Hyper-growth, taking old and damaged phones and remaking them like new.
At 450sqm, the space we created allowed visitors will be able to discover and experience an exclusive presentation of a new range of limited editions of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 7 in unique Remade colours;
An open iPhone structure, more than 2 meters high, in order to fully appreciate and understand the technicality and precision of Remade’s industrial process.
A networking lounge and private meeting rooms were also designed into the space to allow for media interviews and sales activities.
Celebrating Creativity since 1954…… The Lions are the most established and coveted awards for the creative and marketing communications industry. Winning at the Festival puts you among the world’s elite.
Since its first outing, the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity has been bringing the creative communications industry together every year at its one-of-a-kind event in Cannes to learn, network and celebrate.
Nest Studios worked with existing client, DoubleVerify, to create an exciting design for their Cabana during the Cannes Lions Festival in June. Needless to say it was very hot out there, so plenty of shade was required!
It was the first time DoubleVerify attended the event on this scale and the design helped build there profile at the event and in the industry.
We are happy to say we are supporting with them again at this years dmexco, Cologne so look out for that in the next few months!
Mobile World Congress (MWC) is the world’s largest gathering for the mobile industry, organised by the GSMA and held in the Mobile World Capital Barcelona, 27 February – 2 March 2017
In 2017 we were proud to be working and supporting two new clients, Channel VAS and Akamai and an existing client for the 3rd year, inew.
The largest project we undertook was for Akamai, they are the global leader in Content Delivery Network (CDN) services, making the Internet fast, reliable and secure for its customers.
Nest Studios were appointed to design and build their hospitality stand after successfully pitching against 18 other agencies.
Due to moving into Hall 2 a new approach compared to previous years had to be considered with controlled access into the space and mainly hospitality driven activity.
The outer structure was inspired by Akamai’s vast server network, this was further enhanced with chasing LED lighting to show data flow. Once into the interior space, an open and professional look and feel was achieved using high quality materials and lighting. The demo and lounge area where designed with various activations including two hands-on demos with experts, self discovery areas using iPads and a dual screen touch table to show company literature and web assets.
Hospitality and meeting areas included two low lounge, four large meeting rooms with digital whiteboards.
In conclusion, Nest Studios were successful in delivering a modern hospitality, demo and meeting space. We are already talking about ideas for next year’s stand and we have also recently successfully worked with the UK team on the first of two projects as part of Akamai’s overall global events programme.
