For the third year running Lifeplus chose Nest Studios as it’s agency of choice to design and deliver this years flagship Spirit event at the Stuttgart Messe in Germany.
This years Spirit was to be the biggest and most inspiring LP event to date. It would require the hire of 3 halls at the Messe along with several open areas for registration and merchandising.
The project required a full design service, event branding, content creation and management of all construction. We also provided full event management which included liaising with the venue, all security, catering, hostess management, logistics, evening entertainment, stage management and management of the exhibition and evening events.
The main plenary session was designed to host 13000 associates, all seats had headsets giving visitors live access to 6 translation channels. The event was streamed live around the world via a camera and production crew and this year we introduced a live Skype link with other smaller events throughout Europe.
Agritechnica brings together all the leading agricultural companies within the industry and is one of the largest indoor exhibitions of its kind in this sector.
Nest worked closely with HydraForce to deliver their stand design and construction, incorporating new interactive technologies and bespoke product display units incorporating illuminating faces. This created a clean, smart and modern design. The stands modular form also means that this can be reused for the rest of there show programme.
For the last three years, PubMatic has exhibited at the leading digital marketing conference, dmexco.
Building on previous years, the brief this year was to make the stand the best stand yet.
Nest were appointed for the first time in 2015.
The space had a colour changing and speaker system element that created a ‘happy hour’ drinks, providing a great opportunity for networking.
The theme for 2015 was “GET AHEAD OF REAL TIME” this inspired a dynamic look to the stand and being bold with this messaging behind the bar reception area.
Two semi enclosed meeting spaces we designed for quiet meeting spaces and the open lounge to the front of the stand was used for more relaxed meeting’s and sit-down drinks.
Overall both the design and delivery raised the bar for PubMatic and we are pleased to be working with them again at the Mobile world congress in Barcelona.
Otterbox, who are recognised as the leading innovators in protective covers for handheld technology, attended IFA Berlin 2015 and we were delighted to be working with them again to deliver this aspect of their marketing campaign.
The stand, split into 2 halves, represented Lifeproof products on one side and Otterbox products on the other. The challenge from a design perspective was to create a space where the two brands could sit side by side and compliment each other, whilst retaining their own identity and message.
Another key focus was to create strong imagery of products ‘in action’, to grab the attention of passers by.
We also integrated ‘selfie stations’ where visitors could take photos whilst stood on 3D floor graphics of their feet, dropping phones in Otterbox cases, giving the illusion that their phone had fallen off the edge of a staircase or off a cliff. This portrayed the strength of the cases. The photos could then be shared using a hashtag on social media, creating an online campaign.
The overall feel of the booth was fun, impactful and very professional.
Nest are already talking about the next event with Otterbox!
We recently delivered an easy to install and transport event solution for Lifeproof and Otterbox. Each install would follow high adrenaline and fun events around the world. The set-up was transported in bespoke crates and installed by the client.
Our design solution was to use bespoke inflatable structures that are quick to setup, with several interactive and colourful zones including selfie zones, chill out areas and colourful product displays.

Our challenge was to design and project manage their largest ever 2 day experiential event at Messe Stuttgart, Germany in May 2014. This was not going to be like any other conference – this was to be a unique celebration for over 5000 people from 10 different countries.
The two day event consisted of:
Friday: A recognition awards gala for 1100 people. This included a three course meal with a 5 piece live band and a DJ until 1am.
Saturday: The main presentation, featuring 9 speakers and over 150 awards being given out on stage and was presented to an audience of over 5000 attendees from all over the world.
Saturday evening was the event party which accommodated 2500 guests. Entertainment was a 9 piece live band and a DJ until 3am. There was also a cocktail lounge!
The event stretched across two halls and east side of the Messe. Nest organised simultaneous translations in 7 different languages via headsets to all of the delegates. We also introduced a new interactive exhibition area for the lunchtime break which consisted of everything from neck massages to yoga classes whilst also serving lunch to 2500 people.
There were 4 interactive zones promoting healthy living under the Lifeplus formula:
Zone 1 – Staying Active – Where visitors could take part in a yoga class, use exercise bikes and get top tips and facts on staying active.
Zone 2 – Eating Well – Which included a healthy smoothie bar, a live healthy cooking demonstration from a chef who gave out top tips and recipe cards on healthy eating.
Zone 3 – Nutritional Supplementation – here you could discover facts on supplementation and information via video screens.
Zone 4 – State of Mind – A space that gave delegates the opportunity to take part in meditation. Sitting in a specially designed egg chair with noise cancelling headphones playing meditation sounds allowed visitors to get away from the busy show for a moment. You could also opt for a neck and shoulder massage under the scent of relaxing aromatherapy oils.
Other zones included a Foundation area for the Lifeplus charity, a merchandising area where delegates could purchase lifeplus branded items and a ‘meet the experts’ area where experts gave presentations to delegates on how they found their success.
Nest designed and project managed the entire event and through our partners, delivered catering and production management including audio, video, lighting, rigging, logistics and delegate traffic management, security and photography to name just a few…
