SIBOS

Sibos has been a key event in our year for as long as we can remember. With Virtual Sibos opening today we thought we’d look back at the real thing from 2019.

Virtual doesn’t need to be zzzzz

Ok, so we’re all missing the handshakes and the experience that live events provide.

But who said that virtual is experience-less? A cocktail masterclass certainly spiced things up at our most recent virtual production.

Looking back at Dmexco and MWC

Lockdown measures around Europe are slowly easing this week. With this and the news that Germany are reclassifying trade shows as organised events rather than mass gatherings, could there be a distant light at the end of the tunnel for physical events?

The organisers and exhibitors of Dmexco – the worlds largest digital marketing show, will certainly be pleased to see things moving in the right direction. And of course, so are we.

It’s a show that Nest have been working at for many years having had success at MWC in Barcelona.

Here’s a snapshot of some of our work:

The Dentistry Show 2018

The Dentistry Show and Dental Technology Showcase provide a unique sourcing and education event for dental professional.

Nest Studios delivered four stands again at this years show.

Straumann

Working with Straumann again for the sixth year running, providing yet another eye-catching stand to showcase their latest products and equipment.

Hillhead 2018

Held in a limestone quarry in the heart of the Derbyshire countryside, Hillhead is the largest exhibition of its kind anywhere in the world. Continually adapting, it provides a spectacular and unique setting for exhibitors and visitors alike to do business amongst live working demonstrations and static displays

Finning CAT

Nest’s long standing partnership with CAT continued when we were asked to deliver their ‘Software | Hardware | Everywhere’ campaign at this years Hillhead.

The project was so successful that we were then asked to reinstall the same customer experience at their offices in Cannock.

Doosan

We were also appointed by Doosan this year to support them with their presence at the show, installing a chalet where they  hosted meetings as well as having a demonstration area outside.

InfoSecurity Show 2018

InfoSecurity Europe is the region’s number one information security event featuring Europe’s largest and most comprehensive conference programme and over 400 exhibitors showcasing the most relevant information security solutions and products to 19,500+ information security professionals.

Nest Studios installed 2 stands this year at the show, working with existing clients Egress for the 5th year and Akamai for the 2nd year running.

KBB 2018

Established in 1985, KBB Birmingham is the UK’s unrivalled industry event, bringing the largest gathering of the world’s best kitchen, bedroom and bathroom brands together with 16,000 retail, design and development buyers for four days of sourcing and networking.

The ‘Hafele Village’

Nest Studios was asked to provide a stand which consisted of a 2 storey structure for Hafele showcasing their vast product range along with a working kitchen/hospitality and separate stands for partners Grass and Vauth Sagel. The various spaces were then connected over the aisles with carpet and a hanging graphic structure which tied the brands together.

Biamp at ISE/InfoComm 2018

Biamp, a US company that has been designing and manufacturing professional audio visual (AV) solutions since 1976. Makers of high end equipment that manages the audio in airports, train stations, hospitals, auditoriums and conference rooms. There products cover both audio and video. Biamp attends the two largest AV shows in the world each year, ISE, Amsterdam and InfoComm, Las Vegas/Orlando.

Nest Studios were appointed due to the need to update the look and feel of there existing booth with a more modern contemporary look. They had some new product offerings and needed a solution to better express there brand. This was an opportunity to inject a modern aesthetic into the booth design with a shift to there  approach to how they conduct business in the booth.

The new booth had to accomplish the following:

Create flexible, dynamic spaces that encourage meaningful interactions, whether they are intimate conversations or full-scale presentations.

Provide support for increasing our use of interactive media via video screens and touch screen displays as we are no longer bringing printed collateral.

Rethink product displays to allow a complete view of the product in a clean, modern way. Our goal is to reduce the amount of physical product that we bring to our tradeshows. Our audience is very “hands on.” They seek interaction with the product and we would be looking to create a digital solution that could show case the products and how they are used in certain applications. Think about product displays as showing key applications with the flexibility to adjust the types of applications we show each time. There should be thought given to displaying ‘hero’ product at each show which would be key new products we’re introducing.

Modularity to the design as the booth size varies slightly from one show to another, and one year from another.

Two Story Structure with Café concept on the second floor with tables and chairs for small informal meetings. Need to allow space for Barista and espresso machine.

Presentation/Gathering Area to aid with a heavy presentation schedule so a space with monitor and podium with room for a crowd to gather if necessary.

Huddle Room with Functional Audio, Ceiling Mics, Ceiling speaker, Acoustically insulated walls and large Meeting table/chairs and fully Air conditioned.

Reinforce the Biamp brand and our commitment to quality products and excellent customer service and support.

The solution from Nest met all of these goals and also designing a stand that could work across both events shipping from the UK to USA and installing with a mixture of Skilled labour from both sides of the pond. BIAMP have entered into a long term contract with Nest to build and store their stands on a multi year basis.

Shimtech at Paris Airshow 2017

Nest worked with existing client Shimtech at Paris Airshow at the Le Bourget Airport venue again for 2017 back in June.

The main feature on the stand was the 4.5m x 2.5m seamless videowall, displaying an eye catching promotional video to entice visitors to the stand. There were also some creatively designed product displays, one with the use of a turntable for a moving display.

UK Construction Week 2017, NEC

Nest installed two stands at the NEC Birmingham for the UK Construction Week event. The UK’s largest construction trade show with 33,500 attendees this year. One stand was for CAT and one for Finning CAT, each with a different offering but maintaining the same brand consistency throughout. Take a look….
